Documents scanned at 300 DPI or higher with good contrast and straight orientation achieve 98-99% character accuracy. Poor quality scans (blurry, rotated, low contrast) may have lower accuracy. For non-English documents, OCR still works for Latin-script languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian).
